The Kungfu Show tells an exciting story about the legend of a young boy who starts out as a monk in an ancient temple in the mountains. His is a journey of undergoing difficult Kungfu training, Zen practice, resisting temptations and finally reaching enlightment.

Originally known as the Chongwen Worker's Cultural Palace Theatre. Tianchuang International Yanyi Production Exchange Limited Company made a large investment to reconstruct the theatre, putting a large budget in lighting and stage equipment installations to produce more powerful stage effects. The Red Theatre is even more audience-friendly, bringing traditional folk art from the television back on to the stage and reviving old traditions.

Kungfu, also known as Chinese Kungfu or Chinese Traditional Martial Arts, which are all forms of "Wushu" during the end of the Qing Dynasty in China. It represents the application and achievement of the individual physique through martial arts, with "adverse of attack" as its combat tactic. It is a traditional way of education and practice for the individual to bring further understanding for human and nature and the objective rules of society.
